Day 01: Arrival in Sri Lanka – Cultural Wonders of Kandy

On arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), you will be warmly welcomed by a representative of Stelaran Holidays Travels & Tours (Pvt) Ltd., marking the beginning of your unforgettable journey through Sri Lanka.

Day 02: Heeloya Village Trek – Knuckles Mountain Excursion

Wake up to the fresh mountain air and prepare for a truly authentic Sri Lankan experience. After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic transfer to Heeloya, a hidden gem nestled at the foothills of the Knuckles Mountain Range, a UNESCO-listed biosphere renowned for its biodiversity and breathtaking landscapes.

With the guidance of a local villager and experienced trekking guide, set off on a soul-refreshing nature walk through remote village trails that wind through pine forests, emerald tea plantations, cascading waterfalls, spice gardens, terraced rice fields, and unspoiled jungle paths. This trek offers an immersive cultural encounter with Sri Lanka’s traditional village life — far from the influence of modern development or tourism.

You’ll interact with warm-hearted locals, observe traditional farming methods, and even visit a local home where you can witness or take part in preparing a delicious home-cooked Sri Lankan lunch. Day 03: Scenic Highlands – Journey to Nuwara Eliya

After a refreshing breakfast, embark on a picturesque journey into Sri Lanka’s central highlands. Today’s drive from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya winds through rolling hills blanketed in lush tea plantations and misty landscapes that capture the heart and soul of the island.

Along the way, stop to admire the cascading beauty of Ramboda Fall some of the most breathtaking waterfalls in the region. Each stop offers spectacular photo opportunities and a chance to soak in the tranquility of nature.

Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as “Little England” due to its charming colonial-era buildings, cool climate, and beautifully manicured gardens. This highland town was established in the 19th century by British planters who sought refuge from the coastal heat and brought with them a taste of home — fox hunting, golf, cricket, and, of course, tea.This afternoon, visit a working tea factory and plantation, where you’ll witness the fascinating process of how Ceylon tea is cultivated, harvested, and transformed into the world-renowned brew. Day 04: Horton Plains – Into the Misty Highlands

Rise early for an unforgettable morning excursion to Horton Plains National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful and ecologically rich protected areas. Nestled at an altitude of over 2,100 meters, Horton Plains is known for its misty grasslands, cloud forests, and breathtaking viewpoints.

On the way, enjoy a packed breakfast surrounded by the cool, tranquil atmosphere of the highlands. Begin your trek through this UNESCO World Heritage Site, following a scenic 9 km circular trail that takes you to two stunning natural wonders:

World’s End – a dramatic cliff with a 900-meter drop offering panoramic views across the southern plains.     Baker’s Falls – a cascading waterfall set amidst lush greenery, named after British explorer Sir Samuel Baker.

This is also the source region for three of Sri Lanka’s major rivers: the Mahaweli, Kelani, and Walawe. Keep an eye out for rare flora and fauna, including endemic species such as the Sri Lankan sambar deer, purple-faced langurs, and a variety of exotic birds. On your way back to Nuwara Eliya, stop at: Ambewela Farm – known as the “Little New Zealand” of Sri Lanka, famous for its lush pastures, dairy cattle, and cheese production.

Strawberry Farm – enjoy fresh strawberries and local produce.

Gregory Lake – unwind by the lake, take a stroll, or enjoy a relaxing boat ride in the cool mountain air.
